Magazine/Booklet Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the online submission of advertising artwork and content (collectively referred to as "Content") for a printed publication on behalf of the City of Riceboro Ricefest Committee ("Committee") to be printed and reproduced by Shayla Parker Design ("SPD"). By submitting your Content through the online submission portal, you ("Advertiser") agree to these Terms.

1. Submission of Content:

  • Advertiser must use the designated online submission portal provided by the Committee to upload their Content.

  • Advertiser is responsible for ensuring that all Content is submitted in the required format and meets the Committee's specifications and guidelines.


2. Copyright Release:

  • Advertiser represents and warrants that they have all necessary rights, permissions, and licenses to use and reproduce the Content for the purposes of this publication.

  • Advertiser grants a non-exclusive, royalty-free, and worldwide license to the Committee and SPD to use, reproduce, distribute, and display the Content for the purpose of creating and promoting the printed publication.

 

3. Ownership of Content:

  • The copyright and all other intellectual property rights to the Content submitted remain the property of the Advertiser.

  • The Committee and SPD will not use the Content for any purpose other than for the printed publication without the Advertiser's explicit consent.

 

4. Accuracy and Liability:

  • Advertiser is solely responsible for the accuracy and content of the submitted Content.

  • Advertiser agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Committee and SPD from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the Content or its publication.

 

5. Editing and Rejection:

  • The Committee and SPD reserve the right to edit, modify, or reject any Content that does not meet their guidelines or standards.

  • The Committee and SPD will make reasonable efforts to notify Advertiser of any changes or rejections, but no guarantees are made.

 

6. Payment:

  • As specified in the contract with City of Riceboro by the Committee.
     

7. Deadline:

  • Advertiser must adhere to the submission deadline specified by the Committee.

  • Late submissions may not be included in the publication.

 

8. Printing and Reproduction:

  • Advertiser authorizes SPD to print and reproduce the Content as necessary for the publication, without further approval or consent.
     

9. Governing Law:

  • These Terms and the relationship between the Advertiser, the Committee, and SPD shall be governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], and any disputes shall be resolved in [jurisdiction] courts.
     

10. Entire Agreement:

  • These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Advertiser, the Committee, and SPD with respect to the submission and publication of the Content and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether oral or written.

By submitting Content, the Advertiser acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. These Terms are subject to change at the discretion of the Committee and SPD, and any modifications will be effective upon posting. It is the Advertiser's responsibility to review these Terms periodically for updates or changes.
